It is handmade in the beautiful kantha style, which is the way the fabric is quilted. The Kantha material on this particular style has a lovely heft. The recycled material may have small defects, such as small holes, loose threads and other traces of use. There may also be unevenness in the handmade quilting, but that is just part of the charm of these upcycled products. The quilting is meant to be loose. If you find that one or more fine threads come loose, it is super easy to attach the thread again with a needle.
